just remember, you WILL get yelled at, everything you do is WRONG and its ALWAYS you fault, this is all normal in basic. If you are prepared for that and are in good shape then the hardest part should be using a disposable razor and canned goo. Other wise good luck, have fun (you really can) and remember most army stuff doesnt make sense, just gotta do what your told and be in the right place at the right time. What MOS are you going in for and do you know where you will be stationed yet?

Good luck my friend, here some advice my drill gave us when I did boot back in '77. "Cooperate and Graduate!" It worked for me!

Once you are in the field just be alert to your surroundings at all times and come home safe and sound.

I'm in the Guard, so my unit is here in Denver. I'll be coming back here and starting officer school in the next year.
Sadly, I'm not in as good of shape as I should be. However, I should get there fast...I'm very lean. I expect to be yelled at and smoked for anything and everything. That's not much different from my current job, so I'm a little used to it.
In fact, besides being away from my wife, I'm looking forward to it. The weather is going to be great, it'll be a challenge, and I'll feel like I've accomplished something.
