Question What should a man know?

I was struck today by the fact that some men are very dumb. A little back story to help everyone else out, I was working on a shower today but mostly just repairing what the home owner had done trying to put on in. As of right now I am back to replacing the tile after having to take out most of the bathroom floor to run a bigger drain. It was very funny that he had put in one inch pipe to drain his whole shower. Back to the point, when I asked him why he had tried to make a whole bathroom by himself, he replied that he figure it was easy. He then added that being a man you get asked to do some very strange things and when his wife wanted a bathroom she had asked him to do it. So my simple question is what things should all men know? Should we all learn how to plumb or wire a house. Do you think all men want to be handy?

I think it is simple, a real man should know when he is in over his head, and be able to admit it.

    **EDIT**

Upon further thought I would like to add to my answer...

One test of a true man is the judge of a true woman. So I would assume a real man should know how to pleasure a real woman (lest he be judged poorly). Although this does not negate my original answer, a man should know when he's in over his head, even in this task.

a man should know how to use a straight razor and be able to seek out long legged women, good whiskey, good beer, and good fishing spots and that just about covers it IMO.

    +1

He should also know how to give a sincere apology and a good handshake, as well as how to treat a woman.
