Okay, I know I'm going to get flamed for this one, but I'm gonna say it anyway. If you really want to make the US free, get the oafs that are running the Whitehouse impeached. I'm not going to grandstand or soapbox here, but some honest politicians would be nice for a change. And yes, I know Hilter was a vegetarian that didn't have a drinking problem and didn't philander, but I'd like to think this is a drastically different situation. Hell, if Kerry were in office right now and pulling the kind of nonsense Bush's party is, I'd be saying the exact same thing.

Isn't honest politician a oxymoron . If you look back a few years, wasn't Clinton pulling the same crap. I agree with the decision to go to war, and the philosophy behind it. Politicians are politicians and can't help but be full of shit. It's the nature of the beast. The problem I had with Kerry, and the democratic party, was that they have a seperatist view of thing, and that's something the US can't afford.

Sorry, I mean't to address this in my previous reply. This situation only different in location. Back to history again, in 1938 the world underestimated the kind of threat a wallpaper hanging corporal could be. On that same token, we can't underestimate those that we see as a minor threat.

Well now I knew it was in the off topic thread. DUH. I was just trying to keep things from maybe going too far and real arguments starting.

Personally, I don't believe in professional politicians. I would much rather see our government run and represented by regular citizens who would not be eligible for reelection.

Damm I didn't realize this was going to stir things up. I was just trying to find a coralation to str8 shaving. Well I guess my mom was right never discuss religion or politics.

But I do agree that politicians should only have a set term and then must get out.
