I poked around the net a bit after Obama arrived in Copenhagen for COP15. A recap article on one of the news sites stressed that the partial agreement reached was not legally binding. I found this interesting only after reading a blog or two where some bloggers were insisting that if Obama had or at any time in the future would sign an accord, treaty, legally binding document with another country or other form of governmental body without the consent of congress, such an act would be treason.

Treason implies an overt act in violation of the allegiance owed to one's country, specifically levying war against it or giving aid or comfort to its enemies in a time of war.

There's a big difference between an action being unconstitutional and it being treasonous.

Folks, if there is one lesson Climategate has taught us it is that when there is a dollar to be made or a political advantage to be had, truth is the first thing to be sacrificed on the alter of greed.

you know what is really great about this? in time we will all be back to shaving with our straights and honing our straights and enjoying life..everyone will get his or her panties out of the wad it got bunched up in and life will continue on as always.. UNTIL!!! al gore or someone else comes up with another crapola story about something else causing the sky to fall on us sooner than we thought and that one will go away also, and another one will come along and so forth and so on and so forth...in the meanwhile i will go right on shaving
