    The government is never going to make decisions everyone agrees with so the best choice is to make the decision that makes the most sense and and advances the country and its people in the most efficient manner possible.

    I wouldn't mind that much if the government did not agree with me, as long as the decision they made was based on logic, reasoning, and forethought. But it seems that most decisions now are based on how much money individual politicians or their friends can make out of it (eg Halliburton) or how visible the end result is, even if it is completely pointless (eg aviation restrictions since 9/11).

    Wow! You don't care what the government does to you or your country as long as they've thought it out carefully?
