No, and while the data set should be the entire history of Earth, a ten-year span is slightly more relevant than a two-week cold front.

Both of which show cooling trends, in any case.

Well, it's been well proven that global warming is a 'peer reviewed" man made hoax, to make some people reach and advance other people's ideology.

You mean like "reach for the sky" while they grab your wallet?

Another perspective: Emerging market countries (like China and Brazil) are happy to get the Western nations to commit to economy-crippling agreements to give themselves (the emerging market countries) a little competitive advantage, knowing full well they, more so than the Western nations, will weasel out of (or simply ignore) any agreements that adversely affect their economies.

And with international cap and trade, the Western nations will be paying cold hard cash to the emerging market countries for the privilege of crippling themselves.

The insanity is definitely fascinating, unforunately not amusing for those of us getting stuck paying the bill.

    Yes Scott, you are correct.
Bob you are delusional, our fine and self-sacrificing political leaders are doing absolutely nothing but looking out for your good will, mostly because you are too stupid incompetent dependent and needy to do anything to take care of yourself or make any intelligent decisions on your own. Have they phoned you and told you to breath today, oh great they probly didn't realize that you are too dumb to answer the phone. We will say nice lies about you at the funeral.

We are so fortunate to have them looking out for us, I would recommend that we increase their pay but they in their great foresight seeing that we would no doubt rise up and demand this have already taken care of that.

If you're talking about the last hundred years, it's not hard - you adjust the 1930's down far enough and use a short enough timeline...check the link below for some perspective.

Funny how it stopped being called 'global warming' around '98 or so, when the temps started decreasing slightly.

Funny how it's "weather" when you have a cool summer or a cold winter, but 'climate' when it's a hot summer or warm winter.

In the 1920's, they were talking about the Arctic Ocean being unusually warm - 50 years later, NASA GISS was talking about a possible ice age. And *now* suddenly we're all going to die from 'anthropogenic climate change' that they can't even show a correlation for?

    Sorry, not buying it.
