Obama gets a B from me. He inhereted probably one of the worst financial crisises in the history of our country, and is taking aggressive and unprecidented steps to fix it (hence the histerical worry from the right). Health care is going to be reformed (fingers crossed), which would be a HUGE accomplishment. Health care has been getting over on us for years, it's needed. The war sucks, I have alot of family who have been to Iraq. Afghanistan sucks also but there seems to be a consensus that we need to go there, I the wake of the attempted attacks, I hope we can do something.
Things seem to be turning around, from what I have read, the issue is not if we will pull out of this financial dump, but how long will it take for things to start growing again.

I think what he means is that a strong connection can be made from the color of his skin and the fear that many people in this country have of "foreigners." Throughout history the foreigner and ethnic minority has be persecuted in many of the same ways. These words people have tried to tag onto Obama have no grounds and speak to the fear many people have of a black man running this "white" country.

I gave him a D.
H1N1 vaccinations for EVERYONE courtesy of the Fed = bailout for big pharma
Cash for clunkers = bailout for auto industry
On top of that, the bailouts for banks and insurance companies, courtesy of the US taxpayer...
No sir. I don't like it. Don't call it a vaccination program when its just a thinly veiled bailout program for every pharmaceutical manufacturer in the US. Full disclosure, my A.
30,000 more troops to Afghanistan... with the promise to have them all out of there by July 2011... we shall see, Mr. Obama, but I'm not holding my breath.
But the worst of it is the pitiful way that climate change has been addressed by the US to the rest of the world. Honestly, we look like a nation of greedy, selfish jerks to everyone else in the world.
Failing to get the olympics to Chicago is completely irrelavent outside the bubble of its hilarity, but I'm still going to throw in a minus for that failure.
I am dissatisfied with Obama, but we pretty much all know who he works for, don't we? And it ain't the American taxpayer...
