Thanked: 19Your links didn't show him to be a stammering idiot. There are plenty of examples of him speaking without teleprompters just fine.
So what qualifies you to judge a Harvard grad an idiot?
Letterman makes fun of every sitting president....it's his job.

Thanked: 150I'm impressed. I was waiting for the "Yeah, but Bush is a bigger idiot" argument.
Instead I got the "no he isn't" argument.
Harvard grad or not, without a teleprompter to hold his hand, he is a stammering idiot.
Edit: and common sense qualifies me to make this determination.Last edited by mhailey; 01-27-2010 at 10:13 PM.

nah, i think Obama's fine, it's all the gotcha journalism that makes him look bad
i bet he'd look much better on foxnews, if only he stops boycotting them.
but now we all know why he didn't go on to practice law like our own mh, the courts don't have teleprompters like the community organizations...

Thanked: 431This freakin' imbecile has to constantly be told 'what' to say. He's a freakin' idiot.
And how does anyone know that he actually graduated from Hahvud, all of his info is sealed and kept secret. Someone who did go there at the same time that he was supposed to and taking some of the same courses that he would have had to have taken says that he doesn't ever remember seeing the guy.

Thanked: 586I pretty much don't care what anyone has to say in these political arguments but when the depth of your commentary is limited to sophmoric name-calling I wonder if maybe you might serve yourself better by writing your comments on a notepad and waiting 24 hours and re-reading them a few times before actually posting.
I am assuming you are referring to President Obama. I don't believe you really believe he is an "imbecile" and/or an "idiot". Regardless of whether you like him or not, the man is very intelligent and very hard working. I personally do my best to limit passing judgement on anyone other than myself. I have learned that I am not qualified to be anyone's judge.

Thanked: 431Thanks Brad, but I doubt that will happen, maybe I will improve (by some people's definition) some day. But he is ideologically opposed to many many of us Americans out here, and the things that he is working so hard on are not good for the prosperity and good of the country. And I am sure that for the most part that he says what he is told to say and does what he is told to do, though he may definitely be in agreement with it all personally. I do think that he is slick and crafty but am definitely not convinced that he is as intelligent as many would have us to think, and I actually really do think that he is not and never has been 'in touch' or 'in tune' with common folk and that he has mental/psychological issues which probably will always prevent him from being so, that he is an egomaniac an elitist and a narcissist of the highest order. And I'm confident that you are qualified to judge many things and many people.
I really am just very concerned for everyone and especially the younger ones coming along the trail who will have to deal and strive and suffer with whatever is coming a lot longer than we will have to, because of agendas that are being forced on us, and it ticks me off, the folks in Mass. finally got ticked enough and let it be really known, and the guy is so 'intelligent' that he is incapable of seeing what is right in front of him, he tries to come out and say that they where ticked at GWB. .........
...........
Thanks anyway.
