I'll be more interested in them once they get more memory (like 160gb or something) and once they have the ability to have a SIM card in them for roving internet.

The WiFi is great, but there are places where you cant get a signal and I'd want to use the cellular network.

DON'T FORGET....Ipad doesn't support flash, and 75% of the internet is flash driven

I was under the impression that they can run on the 3g network.

I am also under the impression that the newest iphone (and therefore iPad) software allows multitasking.

You can get an ipad with 3g for extra $$ and $30 month. I am pretty sure they still cannot multitask.

software isn't actually out yet I don't think.

Yes you can get a 3G Ipad if you want to buy the AT&T service for 30 bucks. If you do not have 3G from AT&T in your area it is a waste of money.

The Iphone OS version 4 is suppose to have the multitasking but that is not suppose to be released until after the 4G Iphone gets released.

haha, I did think that. I've done quite a bit of browsing on my gfs iphone and not run into anything, I guess flash games but you can play enough games on the iphone as it is.
