Thanked: 1371My avatar is a picture of my head made to look like it's made of fire.
The image in my signature... Well, it's my username with an animated straight razor.
Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government.

My avatar is super grover.
Long time ago, I asked in the mod place who of us had done a certain thing that day. Lynn said it wasn't him because his superpowers were failing him that day.
I quickly posted an image of supergrover making a crash landing (I think) and added the caption 'Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it is super Lynn!'
Right around that time I also changed to supermod and since I didn't have an avatar yet, I decided to make superG my alter ego. andother reason is that I wanted to show that I don't take myself that seriously and that I have a sense of humor.Til shade is gone, til water is gone, Into the shadow with teeth bared, screaming defiance with the last breath.

Hello, Obie. Count on a writer to post such a thoughtful and revealing question.
I'll bite. Though I suspect mine is more less fun than most.
My avatar is pretty much what it says it is.
I am precisely what most people think of when they think of a creative writer. I'm passionate, colorful, and sometimes, a little on the crazy side.
The past year or so of my life has largely focused on trying to have a more healthful mind, and get myself where I want to be in life, both externally and psychologically.
I attempt to make light of madness with a cutesy avatar featuring a well-loved children's book character. It makes it seem less scary - more tangible. I do this a lot in my life recently.
But it seems to be working. Here's to health.
Love,
