The last time the Census guy came around I had some fun by pretending to only speak Klingon, which really threw him. I wound up sending in the form instead

Gotta love Bob, I've had him in my favorites from the start. One of these days he's gonna pop a vein......

    +1.

second, not everyone pays taxes, and not everything they ask is known with the IRS.

Actually, he's wrong on the numbers.... CNN did a little piece about this yesterday HERE. Only $14.7 BILLION dollars. Cheap!

    I just got mine today.

The usual: Number of people in the household; ages; dates of birth; race; etc.

Nothing strange or conspiratorial about it.

So now the constitutionally-mandated census is a socialist plot.

When you're running around and the add says, (in my translation) "get the money we took from you, spent about half of it setting up a system so we can give back your "fair" share." It really bothers me. I wish they'd at least pay lip service, to the original intent which was to figure out districting for the house of representatives...

Don't know about the rest of the country but in E. TN they haven't even been able to get enough full or part time census workers even with all the different forms of advertising (begging) for them. Unemployment near 10% but no one wants the job. Who would of thought? Maybe it's the background checks that stops people from wanting to do census work I think I'll just tell them how many in the house and leave it at that.
