One day we will get it together. Until then there are none so blind.....
Let us each do our own good deed each day.
Pray for those too unfortunate or too ignorant to contribute.
Set an example.
Expect no reward.
The sandtraps of Hell are all over the course.

I don't believe it. Did the school really tell you who got in, who didn't, and what all applicant's qualifications were? Do you think that maybe there were other factors in selecting students besides scores? Community service, relationships with alumni, maybe even personality?

Thanked: 150I am European American (don't call me white) with just enough Native American in me to qualify for minority status, but I didn't because I felt that race should not be an issue. I should have though, to make the playing field level.

Commie, I believe there are yearbooks publish showing the pictures of all accepted freshmen students, these often include the schools they graduated from.
I too have seen a friend lose out on a job to a highly unqualified candidate just because she filled two equal opportunity slots (black, female). In this case he was a fireman/paramedic with three years experience while she had a GED and no credentials. He did have a lawyer look into it but didn't have a case since the quotas had to be filled by law and had already been through the courts on similar cases.

Thanked: 150Wow, "personality" in italics. Is that a personal attack? And no the school did not release this inofrmation, but when you have friends in the school, you find out a lot of information on who got in, what their GPA/LSAT score was, etc ... . A law school class is a very small, tight knitted group, and very little is kept private (including prior activities/community service).
Edit: The school did state that they participated in affirmative action (including quotas) when I toured their facilities, so there is an admission that they requried so many of each race, damn the qualifications of the others.
