I say, do what ever makes you happy. It's nice to see people taking it so far so the rest of us don't have to. SOMEONE has to be the freak, and those pictured above got it pretty much covered. Ice cream anyone?
Also, they illustrate for me that being human is more than your worth in the market place.

If you can get away with it and, more importantly, you really like your look then why not. I've been thinking about a tattoo myself, something I'd convinced myself I would never do, never say never !

i have tattoos all the way down to the wrist and would always get told how i was ruining my future career opportunities.. fact of the matter is.. no one cares.. i see fully sleeved people working everywhere.. whole foods, target, dennys, am/pm... they all have people working with visible tattoos... those are entry level jobs.. now if they went out and got an education.. they'd probably be wearing a suit to work and it wouldn't matter anyway. i'm guessing in 20 years you'll be able to get a job as a kindergarten teacher with horns implanted in your forehead... times are a changing.. for better or worse, i'm unsure of.

Thanked: 227The majority of folk I know with tatoos have them in places a suit can cover myself included due to my profession, however I do know a few folk with a bit of facial decoration ranging from tatoos to piercings to those hoopy things they put in thier ears, people who studied in uni for professional people facing jobs, and were told by many a people that having such decoration was likely to harm their chances, but they tended to have a simple attitude, well if I get it done anyone who employs me will just need to accept it....... Bad idea.....
I am a great believer in self expression, choose your method, it's all about you, but if you choose a method that outsides you to society and the profession you wanna go for, tough cheese matey, you did it to yourself, and the previous attitude is a bad one for a very simple reason, people judge you on how they see you, and if you get an interviewer who thinks your look does not provide the image they are wishing to forward to thier clients, then it's harsh but simple, your ass is out the door, and there are plenty of others queing up to take the job.

Thanked: 44You seem to think that tolerance means not disagreeing with something and supporting it. That's not the case. True intolerance would be the OP sending these people hate letters, or killing them off. Making fun of how they have mutilated their bodies isn't intolerance.

Thanked: 3795OK, so when Hitler started making speeches against the Jews, but had not done anything directly to or against them, I guess that was not intolerance. All he did was criticize them in a public forum.
Disclaimer, I am not equating Paco with Hitler. Paco's mustache is much bigger.
