Thread: Your favorite decadent secret snacks !

Wasn't sure if I should post this in the finer things as some things may not be considered hmmm well...gourmet. Example,I could say I like to eat Spam n Velveeta grilled on white bread with Mayo and Pork Rinds yum !!...Well I do but it's our little secret see ..heh. But When I got the dough to splurge and the weather is gloomy and I got Hulu on the puter, I like a nice can of smoked oysters or Kippers and maybe some cheese of some sort and Hmm oh yes Hard salami n dark Bread and Maybe just maybe some Pickled Okra.The list could go on but...onward and forward ! Now, for sweets.....Chocolate and Peanut Butter anything or Ice Cream of any kind...this boy aint picky ! So Step up lads,let's hear what you like to snack on when no ones around to judge your well deserved Lord of the Manor stature eh !

One of my favorites is just Italian bread dipped in Italian dressing. I can eat a whole loaf like that. Peanut butter cup icecream and popcicles. Love white chocolate peanut butter cups, and Wachusett potato chips.

Campbell's Scotch Broth soup
CheezIt crackers
Meat loaf sandwitches, with cheddar cheese
Chocolate Old Fashion donuts

None of which are available here in Tonga...mores the
pity.

No shame in admittin good taste there Paul...Besides,Mom used to serve me Cambells scotch Broth and I still like it. Cheers back my island brother !

It's been so long, I almost forgot:

Sourdough French bread with houmas (garbanzo beans,
olive oil, garlic, onion, chili peppers, a little salt, all
mashed up together).

This thread is torture! We can't get any of this stuff here!

It's okay man....If I have to go out and eat this stuff for you and send the mental yummines to ya....I will.We leave no man behind here.....no man I say ! P.S. Been checkin out your location thingy there. How are the tropical storms where you are at.It must be murder ?

If you like sushi, you will love this:

fresh fish (I like tuna or mahimahi) cut into 1" cubes
chopped/sliced onion
chopped red chili peppers
chopped tomatoes
lemon juice
coconut milk
salt

Sprinkle fish with salt
Marinate in lemon juice for a couple of hours

Add onions, chilis, tomatoes and coconut milk
Stir

Chill for an hour, and serve with fresh bread or crackers

Yummy! In Tongan, yummy = "Ifo vovo!"
