Thanks for the advice, guys. I think I'm into something good already. I went to bed at 10:00 but probably did not fall asleep until midnight. I set my alarm this morning for 5:45 and after two ten minute snoozes (I couldn't help it) I was up at 6:05. I was able to read a bit and enjoy two cups of coffee in silence and get ready without being in a rush. My wife was up earlier too, which was a surprise. I suggested she do the same on a regular basis; that way we may actually be able to have a breakfast together before our little ones wake up.

Thanked: 1262I have noticed that I rise with the Sun. Summer time is easy for me to wake up early, Winter not so much.
The last time I did a drastic change, it took me about a week to start waking up automatically before my alarm went off.
