Agreed! I am a 33 year old attorney. I am engaged to be married and I have never had hard luck with women, friends or my professional life. While not necessarily rude, it is an "uninformed" stereotype.
I really do not get criticism of activities that do not harm or have any effect on the lives of others. It would be like saying..."I live in the year 2010, have a busy life, therefore, I shave with a cartridge razor."
....and by the way....to Victor, if you loved Quake and Half Life, you really need to check out some of the modern day First Person Shooters.Last edited by Fbones24; 12-19-2010 at 05:40 AM.

I used to play video games like crazy but recently I have grown bored with games. I found that I played them mostly for the story and realized that if I want to enjoy a story I am better off reading a book or watching a good movie.
That said I am playing World of Warcraft solo and have made from 0 to level 50 in about 6 weeks. They did a great job with the Cataclysm expansion.

My vote says never. I'm with JimmyHAD in this. I used to play some of PacMan or Space Invaders years ago but haven't had much interest in video games ever since.
My son and my wife play a lot. Actually i've never understood how anyone can sit down and watch monitor (or TV) for hours and hours.'That is what i do. I drink and i know things'

Thanked: 1160I have an old Xbox which is good enough for me.I have Fable the lost chapters,Mercinaries 1,half-life2,and Tiger woods golf 2005 . I don't play Mercinaries much right now due to the whole thing going on in Korea right now(trying to keep the bad Mojo away ).I Love Fable though and I have played S.T.A.L.K.E.R Shadow of Cherynoble which was awesome ,but I don't like the whole havin to use the keys instead of a good ol' joy console, outstanding AI though.I also learned alot about Golf on the Tiger woods game.
P.S. Love Half-Life II,but I do get queasy from the movement of the game especially after a long mind drain session.

Dude you must have mad time management skills

I gotta say Call of Duty MW2 and Black Ops.. Great first person shooters.. And for you guys who haven't played since pac-man, The modern stuff is truly amazing. In these two games alone you can play against 18 or more people from anywhere around the world in realtime. no delays... truly instant. I play most weekends with my brother and nephews who live almost 2500 miles from me. It's just as if we're in the same room. They've come a long way since pac-man..
