Thanked: 23I just bought a pair of new balances with the sausage string as well. I put 'em to the test! 27 miles down on single knots with no issues.

Funny, 4 customer reviews here all praising the laces because their shoes no longer become untied. I've been tying my shoes since I was maybe 5 years old and never ran into that problem with the same old laces we know and love.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.
