Until this moment i thought that the world was ready. After seeing those technically improved shoe laces i knew that i have been terrible wrong.
How can i carry on without getting those, asap? I feel SLAD rising.'That is what i do. I drink and i know things'

Thanks for the sarcasm. There's some truth behind this anyway. Some lately running shoes do have very poor laces. They are so poor, that even double knot doesn't seem to be enough; shoes get loosen while jogging/running. Replacing laces from older shoes has been my solution. However, I don't know if those particular shoe laces are the answer.

I wasn't being sarcastic and I've done plenty of running with Adidas, New Balance and other brands of running shoes in my younger days. I still wear Converse Chuck Taylor All Stars high tops at work more often than not. Double knots, square knots .... just hasn't been an issue for me. OTOH, I haven't bought a pair of sure enough running shoes in years. Funny thing is, like Sailor was saying, now I find myself wanting to buy a pair of NB with the sausage laces. Monkey see monkey do I guess.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Just for the record, I didn't read those replies quoted by me in negative way.
Seems like requirements for weather-resistant and stretchable laces are just too much sometimes. I've even heard one major company introduced running shoes with laces too short. Ha-ha.

i buy running shoes every few months (im forced to run alot). i have never had a problem with my laces coming untied, i have also never run in a pair of nikes before but a plain old double bow knot has worked for me for years now, if i ever start to have problems with them coming untied i guess i could switch to velcro

Thanked: 23I just bought a pair of new balances with the sausage string as well. I put 'em to the test! 27 miles down on single knots with no issues.
