Very sorry for your loss. I lost my own son a few years ago. It is a difficult event to overcome both physically and emotionally.

I recommend you take the time, eventually, to review the stages of grief and work hard at accepting and recognizing them.

I cannot even begin to imagine the grief you are going through now. I am aware that presenting words of condolences is hollow and dry. But what else can we do?... I am sorry for your loss.
I have never, in my short life, experienced the parting of anyone who was not meant to go... when a grandfather or grandmother, father or mother goes away, there is grief, but a sense that it is "natural" - it is life in its full cycle.
However, the tragedy of a young life ending on such terms is, for me, unimaginable. I am sorry...
Thank you for sharing your grief with us.

I dont recall ever crying while reading a thread on SRP until now. My deepest sympathies to you and your family. I hope sharing with us has made this just a little easier for you to deal with. Please feel free to keep us updated on how your doing or even PM me personally if you need to unload some pain.
I will be thinking of you.

We will keep you and your family in our prayers, and I will go home tonight and make sure to let my wife and children know how much I love them.

Thank you all so much for the compassion shown on this thread. The Humanist service was perfect, the music he liked, the friends he loved and the family all together from far and wide. I would estimate over 200 people attendedand over 1500 signed a small obituary on facebook, which got removed as someone thought it inappropriate, but the people he touched in his life, no matter how briefly, all came to say what a great, funny, warm and comforting guy he was and will be missed by so many.
We started a book for people to write something in about their life, or experiences, with Tyler as parents we miss so much of our children's lives. I cannot bring myself to read any of it at this time but later, whenever that may be , im sure i'll learn so much more about that cheeky little chap.

all the best to you and your families no matter how near or far let them know, from time to time, how much you love them.

I'm a little late to the game on this one, but may God bless and keep your son, and may He comfort you and your family. I'm so sorry to hear of this.
