I'm a Pens fan and unfortunately I don't think my playoff beard would last very long but I don't even get to try because of work. (Maybe I'll grow a "Crosby return beard")
I REALLY hope Buffalo pulls out an upset in the first round but I'm saying the cup is going to the West this year... again.

Tampa will struggle in goaltending and the fact that they haven't been in the playoffs for (since 2004?). I just think the Pens aren't a strong cup contender but they're possibly good for a conference final appearance.
Your Habs have a good shot in the first round. I think Tim Thomas will end up being like Evgeni Nabokov and just be a regular season guy and Boston isn't a huge favorite to begin with in my opinion. Let's just say the East is very hard to pick this year.

I cannot grow a beard or mustache for my work but who cares. I am confident that Saku Koivu and Teemu Selänne from the Ducks will get their team high.

I miss Saku
Saku will be a big help to the ducks, he always comes up big in the playoffs.

I am completely onboard with the tradition, alas my poor Coyotes are playing the Red Wings in the first round, so I think this beard will be short lived.

Hey, watch it fella!
As my razors sometimes remind me, I bleed redThe last time Detroit played Phoenix, it was a tough series, and the Coyotes beat our guys up enough that they didn't have the legs to edge out the Sharks.
Living here in the DC area, I follow the Caps also. As I'm sure you know, they haven't had the best of luck in the playoffs, so there may be some hope for you yet. I do think the Caps shift to a more defensive style of play will help them out this year though.

Six?!! You're being generous. I was thinking more like four, but then again, look what happened to us last time we did something like that. All I can say is I hope I'm not scheduled to work the day after the deciding game to move on to Round 2. Whether they win or lose, I don't sleep much that night!
