Thread: Playoff beards

I think the tradition is slowly spilling over into other sports. Has anybody noticed if Luongo is keeping a beard this post season? If I recall correctly, last year was the first time he kept one and he shaved it during the series against the hawks to try and change his luck.

I'll post a picture with half my beard gone, and the razor I used to do it.

Did anybody catch the Tampa Pittsburgh game? I just saw the box score and some of the high lights and it looks like it was a blow out

Tampa wanted it more - trite, but true. Fleury wasn't that sharp either.

Tampa came out and played strong the whole way through. The pens looked like a regular season team until the middle of the second in my opinion

I didn't see him with one last night. As for other sports with playoff beards, I think MLB has done it in the past.
