Playoff beards
I'm calling out all hockey fans:
The NHL playoffs are starting this week. Playoff beards are a big tradition, and I'll be growing one. I'll only shave it off when my team (Montreal Canadiens) will either:
A) win the stanley cup (unlikely)
B) get eliminated (hopefully not against Boston...)
SO, am I the only hockey fan that'll be putting the straight razor away to support their team ??
GO HABS GO !!

If you asked when I was still using an electric razor, I'd be right there buddy!
Now I've got too many beautiful blades beckoning me to let them do their thing. Besides, I just now got used to the gray on my head. I can't handle gray on the face yet!
You can call me "bushy" in spirit though.
Let's Go Red Wings!

If the flames had made the playoffs I'd be with ya! But I'll drink a beer in honour of your playoff beard.

Can't have any facial hair due to my work aside of a reasonable mustache. Even if I could, it would take me until next years playoffs to have a beard.
The way I see it is you'll only have some scruff going when the B's eliminate the Habs (I hope), so don't bother with the before and after pics; we'll hardly be able to tell the difference!!

Are the Sabres in? If so, I'll grow a playoff mustache.

Hey, watch it fella!
As my razors sometimes remind me, I bleed redThe last time Detroit played Phoenix, it was a tough series, and the Coyotes beat our guys up enough that they didn't have the legs to edge out the Sharks.
Living here in the DC area, I follow the Caps also. As I'm sure you know, they haven't had the best of luck in the playoffs, so there may be some hope for you yet. I do think the Caps shift to a more defensive style of play will help them out this year though.
