Thomas sure got off the ice in a hurry. I don't blame him. Not the ideal way to lose a game I thought he played outstanding in.

That's the problem, Thomas plays great all game long but the rest of the supporting cast inevitably blows it for him.

I am not sold that Thomas would not like to have that back. The style he plays opens you up to goals like that. do not get me wrong i think he is a great goalie. But that over aggressive style sometimes pulls you out of the play.

Agreed. There are many times throughout the season where I'm yelling at the TV for him to get back in the crease where he belongs.

I threw up in my mouth when Norton was hit. That was absolutely disgusting. That was a clear intent to injure, Rome saw he was looking away for a fraction of a second, AFTER he got rid of the puck and went straight for the head. Absolutely viscious. He jumped at him for pete's sake.
When will these guys wake up and stop trying to end each other's carreer ?!? And Bettman's wondering why he can't sell this sport to the states.
The reason for a body check is to seperate the guy from the puck. Now the reason seems to be to seperate the guy from his head. It makes no sense.

This is what people want. Not real hockey fans such as ourselves, just animals who are out there looking for people to pretty much get annihilated for their entertainment.
The NHL is looking to attract paying customers, whether they truly appreciate the sport or not. They've been catering to them for years, just look at the shootout.
