Congratulations to all you Fully-Bearded and itchy Bruins fans out there.

Tim Thomas is going to set off all the metal detectors with all that hardware he's carrying back to Beantown.

Sorry to read about the nuts in Vancouver showing their as to the world.

Here's something for the Bruin's fans.

We have a golf tournament every year in the engineering department. This tournament is NOT serious, so we find themes & dress up to play.

We decided we'd get dressed up as the stanley cup champions this year. Guess who won the cup ?

So here is our tribute to the stanley cup champions, our foresome was called "THE BIG BAD BRUINS":

From left to Right: Don Cherry, Bobby Orr, Zdeno Chara & Patrice Bergeron.

    Default When interests collide

Fellow hockey fans, how do you mix the need to grow a playoff beard with the desire to play with your shaving toys?

This is my first playoffs after getting into wet shaving, and I have grown a decent playoff beard the last 3- 4 years. It helped that my Pens made it to the finals a few times!

I will squeeze in one more full-face shave before we play on Wednesday. From there, I guess I will just to light neck touch ups until my boys skate the Cup in early June.

I would not worry this year as a Pens fan.

Default NHL Playoffs = Playoff Beards!

It's that time of year again when I am forced, by the great powers of the Hockey Gods, to put down my blades (straight or double-edged) and allow a lucky playoff beard to grow and flourish as my beloved (and behated) Sharks attempt to... win... the Stanley Cup, in hopes that they will do the same (flourish, not grow beards). Please, please - hold your comments until... well, forever. We Sharks fans need no further rousing.

I suppose in more modern tradition, I won't be quitting entirely as I'll still be religiously shaving the lower 1"-2" of beard on my neck as that crap just gets way too darn itchy. So, for any hockey fans out there, I wish you strength and luck both in growing your playoff beards and on the ice, but not so much luck that you'd beat us. And for anyone who's from St. Louis, I wish your entire team come down with a mysterious case of 2-week long amnesia that causes them to forget how to play hockey!
