    Default 2011 Rugby World Cup

Well we are into the Week leading up to the 2011 RWC. I am sure there are other fans here as we are a very international and diverse group. So who are you cheering for, what are your thoughts on the tournament

I'm cheering for Australia but I think it is unlikely we can take it out. Still, should be an excellent competition. I particularly like watching the group stages - there's always some very entertaining rugby played.

I always like the underdog, So the AB will not be on my top for cheering.

I guess for me this year I would like to see Canada and Scotland do well. In Canada's case it would be nice to see the team improve on there IRB ranking of 14th. Finishing 2nd again in there pool and advancing to the quarters would be spectacular. Rugby is going through a bit of a boom here in Canada and we actually now have a National team training facility announced. I would be good for the game here in Canada to for the team to do well.

As for my underdog to rise up and challenge the AB and the Aussies, Scotland or Ireland are my hopefuls. like I said I like the underdogs and being of Scottish decent I could not with a clear mind root for the English

And sent him homeward, Tae think again

Because Canada doing well is a bit of a pipe dream, ill have to cheer for Ireland. Im hoping for big things for both teams.

Agreed Trillium, but define well. For me if we even move up from 14 we are doing well
