Those beach photos remind me of the beaches where i used to live in Geraldton, Australia. Southgates or half way bay would be the beach's.
Now that i live in Perth and have no beaches where i can 4x4ing and I'm really missing it! (we do have beaches just no car access for a good 100km or so)
This photo you could 'almost' say it was from geraldton! It really reminds me of my real home town, If i had some photos i would post them but i don't have any.

Thanked: 983Well, I don't know exactly what a home town is, having moved around so much, so perhaps you can just google earth them, here's the list:
Roma QLD.
Ayr, QLD
Townsville, QLD
Morven, QLD
Bollon, QLD
Meringandan, QLD (Good luck with that one)
Toowoomba, QLD
Geraldton, WA (I didn't see any beaches that looked like that! )
Morton Island, QLD
Brisbane, QLD
The list is no joke, but saying you should just google earth them was. That defeats the whole photographic purpose part of the thread!

This is the only photo i can find of southgates but trust me, it could look 'close' to that! Maybe not as nice but it still reminds me and makes me home sick. Face the camera the other direct and remove some seaweed lol
Half way bay would be much closer though, halfway between geraldton and kalbarri
Having no photo defeats the purpose of the thread just jokingLast edited by Brighty83; 09-08-2011 at 10:02 AM.

I live in Andorra, a little country in the Pyrenees between Spain and France. It's high mountain, but it's very nice. Country has only 70.000 people and more or less, 30.000 are spanish.
A view of the city of Andorra la Vella, the capital of the country.

I'm still saving up for a nice SLR camera, in the meantime I use the dreaded iPhone camera and Hipstomatic app for that vintage effect. Here is what NYC looks like to me.
