Thanked: 983Mate, it's a harmless leaf curling spider by the look of it. Not one of the dozen or so lethal spiders we have around this country that I can make out anyway. No need to be scared of him.

Hes not poisonous he is just a little huntsman, if he was poisonous there is no way i would be holding that stone! LOL
Mate, i'm not scared of much but spiders is one, poisonous or not! I was almost going to put him on my hand but they still bite!

Thanked: 983Quite correct now I'm thinking Brighty, but it's a 'She', and falls under the genus of 'Badge' Huntsman. Not known to have caused any deaths, but will make you a very sick boy for a while if she decides to have a taste of ya. I should have checked my spider bible a bit better before my first comment.
