I guess we kind of take this level of 'visible' history for granted a little in Europe, I'd certainly miss it if it wasn't there though

No, no. A lot of people do it. Part of the Pyrenees, of course. For example, four/five days walking. When you want, you/he can contact with me and I'll give you/him information.

For those outside of Canada, Wasaga Beach is kind of like the Canadian version of Jersey Shore, just we are more polite and less annoying.

I have nightmares whenever I drive through that area. And I'm used to the traffic in NoVa and on the beltway around DC and Baltimore.
I grew up in the Berkshires but now reside in the Shenandoah Valley in Virginia.

Here's some shots near where I am these days:

People driving in Oklahoma at any time of the year is scary. I've learned when we drive I-40 out to OK that the truckers are the sanest drivers on the road. Everyone else is either used to driving a tractor or being on the road with less than 10 cars in sight.

Besides the strip and the casinos Vegas is known for, we do have some beautiful surroundings. There's the Red Rocks, Mt Charleston, Lake Mead, Hoover Dam,... and about 4 hrs drive the Grand Canyon in Arizona. Here's just a quick rundown of a few beautiful sights I'm fortunate and blessed to see every so often.

Here's the most recent addition to my (current) city - anyone like to take a guess where? ;-)
