Fortunately the impressionable youngsters of the 21st Century are largely occupied with more wholesome pursuits...so if I understand this right, every kid 20 years old or younger has probably seen two girls one bowl at least a dozen times but heaven forbid they see a baseball player with a can of Copenhagen.

Look, here is the bottom line. We live in a democracy. We vote for our government. They decide for us what we should do. They have decided we should not imbibe tabaccy during sport events. So really, we decided this ourselves when we voted for our democratically elected representatives.

If you don't like it it means you don't like democracy.

From what I've seen, they're preferable to democrats and republicans.

actually you are wrong... we do NOT live in a democracy... we live in a republic.....

democracy is "majority rules"......

republic is "we vote people to represent us and trust them to do in our best interest"........

the founding fathers were great men and genius's and what they laid out for this country has lasted 240ish years but in the last 20 years the country has gotten perverted and twisted........ we need to go back to what their visions were..... the path we are on is the path to destruction.......

Sorry i didn't watch two girls one bowl but i can easily guess what happens in that video. It was just a matter of time when someone makes something like this. I just couldn't find any reason to watch such video.
We live the times of Idols, Big Brother, Fear Factor etc etc. I wouldn't want to be cynical but i think that we are measured by what we own or by the amount of publicity we get. Not by what we are.
Now i do not believe that baseball players have much impact on whether kids start smoking or not, but basically we are like monkeys. We are influenced by what we see or by social norms around us. Some get influenced more than others but unless we live in a cave far from others we all learn our behavior from people and society around us. Nowadays we have better changes than ever to pick those things we like. It is human nature.
