Thanked: 1Well, it did not work in Vetnam, so why would it work in Iraq?
Do you even know what agent orange is, by the way?

Agent Orange = carcinogenic herbicide used to kill off the crops and starve out the VC. It was also used to destroy the jungle thus making modern weaponry more effective and to make it more difficult for the Vietnamese to defend their land against a modern invading army. A secondary effect that a few (relatively speaking) vets and LOTS (both relatively and literally speaking) of locals caught the "big C" because of it.
Even though I don't hate US citizens (the term Americans technically should refer to citizens of all countries in the Americas), lots of people in the world do, mostly because of the US foreign policies.

If people who are committing mass genocide and the people who were being exterminated by the hundreds or thousands just complain about our help, than screw em, let them kill each other. As far as why the world hates Americans, I would love to see if we did not interveine and how every other country would be at our doorstep beggin us to help because their country is in trouble now. I say if our help isnt wanted let everyone else fend for themsevles and watch them as they weep once they realize that Mother America isnt there to step in and save them this time.

Josh, I agree with your argument in general..
You have to realize that there are at least two sides to every disagreement so if you help one side you'll be slighting the other. That's why my take on it is to stay out of the mess unless your borders get threatened or are asked to interfere by ALL sides and then only if it suits you. In any case, that's what the UN is for.

And the "accurate" way is that you were just dropping AO to kill the weeds thus helping feed the poor farmers you met during your friendly and peaceful strolls through the jungle? Just like you were tilling the fields in Serbia with Tomahawks and getting rid of those pesky power plants, bridges, passenger trains, embassies and tv stations?
Edit: I forgot all about apartment buildings and hospitals. They're worse than weeds

Maybe this would be a good time for you to quit pretending to know more than you really do. Oh, by the way. I have a few medical issues possibly related to agent orange. That should cut down a little on your percentage ratios and oughta make you feel better all at the same time.
