On average I probably only use a quart of water per shave. Call me crazy but I'm still a big fan of flushing the toilet when it needs to be flushed and washing my arse when it needs to be washed. No, one or two showers a week is NOT adequate. 2/3rds of the planet is covered with water and it routinely falls from the sky. I think I'll my current hygiene regimen will continue unabated.

I use about a gallon most of the time. Pitcher and bowl shaving for me!
I'm all for the homebrew and microbrews anyway.

The heck with beer soap just use bud for shaving period.
