Default Budweiser doesn't want my business!

So, I am on the way to work this morning and I hear an ad on the radio. It says that Budweiser is urging you to go without shaving to conserve water...says that by skipping one day that you save 5 gallons. What a bunch of hippie crapola that is. Does anyone seriously use that much water??? And besides, the water purification plant has to make money... Any thoughts Gentlemen?

If I factor my shower in the equation with the shave, I could see 5 gallons. Are they saying we should not shower? If I used 1 gallon of water shaving I would be amazed. Tis ok though, I prefer Miller light when drinking domestic.

Another example of corporate America trying to do something "good".

While I will say they are probably exaggerating. They are most likely not to far off. I know when I was shaving with a cart at the sink I would just leave the water on most the time. Mainly cause I had to rinse it often. So I could a lot of guys doing that and using 3 or 4 gallons easily.

The bulk of the water I use for shaving is cool water coming through the tap while the hot water meanders to me. Once I get hot though, I can't imagine it being more than a gallon, tops.

I can't see using 5 gallons of water shaving, a gallon or 2 at most for me. I don't let the water run to rinse my SR while shaving, a damp sponge is used for that. For saving water used in the toilet we always said "if it is yellow let it mellow, if it is brown flush it down". I don't consider Bud a beer.
