Our best wishes. Hope she feels better. Those bumps to the head can be nasty.

    Hope she recovers quickly, Alex.

Wish I could have a memory loss with the one I had...

11 or 12, Josh. Ouch. Once, with the bleeding ears and migranes for the next 6 or 7 years was enough for me.

sounds like you got it way worse than me, all I got was ruptured eardrums a few times but mostly just minor concusions, lost my memory of the incident a few times but thats about the worst of it....although I do hear static in one ear everyn now and then....

well, it was a rough night and I feel like crap but she's geting better. She's a lot less nauseous at least and is having less problems with the memory thing.

Good to hear everything is getting back to normal... didn't catch an answer on the helmet q though - and would guess she wasn't wearing one? That's hardcore but dangerous...

I have had only 2 concussions with just short time memory loss... One time I was beaten by a soccer crowd while the helpless cops watched by (from my own team fans ) the other when I did a Zidane on a big tree snowboarding (blind turn into tree, I used to ride in the forest) Both times no helmet. Have had many falls skating but the helmet has kept me alright

In US you can't even get in the skate park without a helmet...

    Best wishes
    Ivo

That's the weird part about me.. There were a few occasions when I SHOULD HAVE got a concussion....
    1) Snowboarding, caught the edge and slammed into the hard-packed surface with enough force to injure my neck muscles (no helmet)
    2) Got attacked by 7 locals in Montenegro, looking to pick a fight with a tourist. The first hit I took was from a kid who jumped off a trunk that was a bit over a meter high and landed with the fist to the back of my head. Nasty swelling but no concussion effects.
    3) Was driven on the highway buy a less than careful driver. Spun out, got t-boned and my head went right through the windshield. Only a small bump lol. The damndest part about this was that I had the seat belt on and the airbag opened.
Maybe I have the Homer Simpson Syndrome
