If it was left up to me, they'd be FULL auto and NO restrictions.

On a side note, with the proliferation of CCW licenses in this country, the latest FBI crime statistics show a marked decrease in crimes against people in the states that allow it. Go figure.

All you need to make a high power explosive is bleach and petrol jelly. As stated in another post, I will go crazy if I can't buy either of those things because it is POSSIBLE to make a bomb with them. For this same reason, they could take away stump remover. Can be used to make a smoke bomb, or a very large firecracker. trust me, I have done it.

Yeah, it makes sense to monitor these sorts of purchases, and fertiliser, etc. We have all suffered too much with terrorist bombings, etc.

Yeah? Do you get searched? As an ignorant outsider I'm curious to know if the average citizen DOES get the chance to protect themselves often. I sort of visualise a mexican standoff situation all the time, or going to answer the door and thinking "shit, I left the M60 in the toilet..."

2 Stories last week of people protecting themselvs. One of the a 14 year old kid in his own home. Another of them a 65 year old man.
