With all due respect, I don't believe this guy would have killed more than one person had he had no access to a firearm.
In an effort to stay intelligent let's not bring Michael Moore in to this.
He made that film with a specific agenda. And to have gotten that rifle (a Weatherby hunting rifle, iirc) he still would have had tl go through a federal background check .

Making bombs is darn easy and far cheaper than guns. All it takes is a few minutes on Google or some time in a good library to find out how. My Uncle, a former Marine, may he rest in peace, taught me how to make gunpowder from scratch.

Tear gas can be made very simply with everyday household products.

That's where you're wrong ... There are raids on a monthly basis here in the UK where people who have purchased those things are being arrested. Some say we are watched too much, I like to think it is just enough

To be honest, I don't know how you all live with it, esp when it comes to your people killing people in schools. I find it really disturbing. In know some weirdo is always going to get a gun (or make one) but I still ask, how many of those people in the theatre were shooting back...

None? Oh, I thought the gun ownership laws protected them?
While firearm ownership is protected by federal law private businesses are able to put up signs prohibiting guns on their premises. I don't know if it's true or not but I've heard that the theater had such signs up.

No offence, but I will go crazy if people are being raided for buying BLEACH to make explosives!
