Yeah, but they're not going to kill the NUMBERS of people. What are they gonna do? Stand there with a long bow and a quiver of arrows? Yes, of course acts of terrorism via bombs, planes, gas etc are going to happen, but at least what seems to be a disturbingly common method in your country will be curtailed. To be honest, I don't know how you all live with it, esp when it comes to your people killing people in schools. I find it really disturbing. In know some weirdo is always going to get a gun (or make one) but I still ask, how many of those people in the theatre were shooting back...

None? Oh, I thought the gun ownership laws protected them?

Bleach, Petroleum Jelly, Candle Wax, Stove. In about 30 minutes you can make what they used to fill grenades in WW1. I wont bore you with the scientific terms.

If someone is crazy enough to want to kill a lot of people, there is no need for guns or explosives.

Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government.

Somebody earlier said that the theater had a "no guns" policy. The fact still remains that had they been carrying guns, would it have changed anything, the guy rolled in a canister of tear gas first anyway. TEAR GAS, where the hell did a member of the public get a canister of tear gas?

Movie theater banned the guns. Perfect legal because it is a private property, which the govt can't touch. If there hadn't been that restriction, I be willing to bet someone would have shot back.

This is true, but they aren't going to do it all at once, I think the people would have had something to say about it had he been unarmed.
