Kinda reminds me of the whole, but who will bell the cat story. You'all have some pretty onrey snakes around, but, I've noticed that just about any snake will bite, they might not be venomous, but it still hurts! The only snakes I have around the house are cute, little snakes. They look like big earthworms. If you found one ten inches long, it would be a monster, they can't open their mouths wide enough to bite. There's another snake, out in the country, that are super mellow, King snakes, you can pick them up and put them around your neck, they don't care. Other than that, the rest of the bunch are pretty bittey. Good luck on your rattle project, I'd like to see a picture of your work.

B&W theme tonight. photobucket is being a totall AZZ but I finally got today's stuff uploaded to the sumbitch.

West TX. Old fence, oil field junk and hills.

Mingus, TX empty building next door to the infamous MULE LIP Bar.

Abandoned church, Mingus, TX. Still has the pews and pulpit in place. Glare was too bad to get a pic through the dirty glass.

Northwest MB-1 "front shovel". Hasn't been fired off in over thirty years. Has the MURPHY diesel that virtually EVERY old old Northwest machine I've seen has in it.

Old warrior at rest in a pretty much abandoned cemetery. Newest stone I saw there was 1980.

Found some guys cutting rice North of town. These are the new John Deere CTS's, the rice is layin' down, but it'll pick it up. The last shot is them loading a trailer from a bank out rig.Name: DSC00242.jpg

On the way to work today...

...it was nice and sunny, I listened to The Police and REALLY old Alice Cooper ('69) when it/him/they sounded like REALLY old Pink Floyd...

The last one was taken while driving (action shot) which is why it's skewiff. Skewiff is a very nice word meaning 'crooked'. This last picture, is, as we say, 'A tad skewiff'. A 'tad' is a unit of measurement. Everyone who is anyone knows a smidgin is smaller than a tad. Not 1/2 a tad, because everyone knows you can have 1/2 a tad, smaller than 1/2 a tad; leaning towards a bee's dick but nowhere near that really....
