Thanked: 983We do have Funnel Web Spiders, but they're Spiders, not arseholes, and yes they will have a go at you, but you will have done something to them first...Whether or not you know what you've done to them is another matter. I wasn't in a Funnel Web area at the time. More of a Bird Eating Spider (Tarantula family) area ...Well most anywhere in Australia is their territory...I do live in a Funnel web area though. Haven't been bit yet.

On my way to work this morning I thought about the view and this thread and grabbed my phone. It turned out a little fuzzy but that is a good representation of how I am that time of morning! I was stopped at a red light but as I snapped the picture you can see the other direction turned red. As I put the phone down I realized my light was green. Not long enough for the guy behind me to honk at those damn cell phone users.

Kept trying to find Bugscuffle. Went down some some pretty rough trails. It ain't there no more. Been gone 80 years or more.
Came back out on the black top just North of

Thanked: 884They've built a fancy NEW one with but one story about a half mile closer to the main road.
Guess they thought the Good Lord needed a shiny new house.

Wullie, I like your sunrise photos, as road photos. When I'm on an overnight road trip, it seems like night will never end. Seeing the sun finally come back up helping me stay awake is my favorite sight

Re: Road pics
So this is one of my favorite spots on Skyline drive. Went up last night to try and get a shot in the storm but no dice.
