I went on a road trip yesterday to Thronton CA. Big Portuguese Festa over the weekend. I took some pictures of the parade, I'm having issues posting them. I also took some short videos of the Forcados at the bullfight. Also known as the suicide squad, they are something to watch. Hopefully this will post.

It's not fair just to show them in defeat. Here's their fourth try, they got it right this time.

I took a couple pics of some oxen pulling tiny wooden carts. After I post this, I'm gonna look up what the hell an ox is. I always thought they were just beef critters, without nuts, that instead of eatin' they let get big. These things are friggin' huge, and have nuts. Anyway, maybe the site will let me post them once the boogies are chased outa the lines. Got a good picture of a perfect John Deere Johnny Pop tractor too. It was cool to hear it run!

OK, Wullie, it let me post a few pictures. Oxen, John Deere and, a poor little first time heffer that needed to be milked. I think. If it don't come out, don't shoot the messenger!!

If you want to see more videos of the forcados, I just figured out, if you click on the youtube tab on the bottom right, then, you can click on my name on the upper left border, that will show the other videos I've posted. There were three teams, and I taped all their tries. Granted, I haven't posted them all yet, there are enough to satisfy your blood lust for a while. I'm not sure if tomorrow night will get rained out, hope not, but it hasn't rained here in over 130 days, we need it.

Well today I drove home and noted that my "hood" has started prepping for Halloween. It's huge here - here are the first two to get started.
This couple's house always looks like it's prepped for Halloween lol - it's very uh... Kansas.
Of coarse I had to take a shot of this guys house on my way home too. I can just hear it! Jimneny Cricket hon! How many times do I have to tell you who to vote for!? Seriously?! Here - I'll put up a post-it note of sorts so that you don't forget ok!! Sigh.
