I decided yesterday to take a quick weekend drive from VA where I live to my homeplace in MA to get a touch more winter to tide me over.
It was 61° and sunny at 4pm when I left VA and the daffodils on the south side of house were starting to bloom.
Pulled in about 2am and it was 27°. This is what greeted me when I woke up this morning :

changing phones
My daughter said her phone isn't working and needed one. She asked for an old one. I bought a new one. $29 USD.
I am gonna give her my old one and here are a few pictures I found on it.

Last week I was near Little Falls, NY, so I came home on RT5S and stopped at this church. I had not stopped there since the early 1990 when there were no internal wall and and all the arson damage was in full view it cleaned up well and I will go back over the summer when the place is open. It is believed to be the only remaining Anglican missionary church specifically built for converting native American Indians, in this case the Mohawk tribe of the Iroquois nation. Here is the preservation society's web page, it has a horrid lay out. lots of history and pictures are tucked away the site map link on the main page is the easiest way to get around. So with that said here are my silly pictures. (yes, I know I should have put my coat over my head and blocked the sun and reflections on the windows so I could have better pictures of the interior but is was -7F and very windy, so I was trying to hurry)

I like that Morel, you could cut a couple of steaks off that thing.
