    Yep, tombstone trotting again.
Little treasures like these are why I stomp around old cemeteries.
Times were rough on grown folks too.

Close up of the porcelain pic showing the original stone. No idea who the menfolk were.

One for Hirlau, I have yet to kill all the bugs, PLENTY of seed stock left. All those little dark spots are grasshoppers waiting to be smashed.

So I am in France - Normandy in particular, for the 60 anniversary of D-Day. I was roaming the Cemeteries when I came upon this one marker that stated something about here rests the last remaining male of the (insert name) family. It was kind of touching, so I took a photo.

It was too weird as when I got back home and my mother in law saw that photo… she almost burst into tears – she knew the family. It was quite moving. I can't seem to find the photo right now, but I’ll try. In the mean time on that same trip to France I also got a shot of the Lizard Kings headstone.

I remember the aloes and the bald hills, was not so green when I last passed that way.

Looks nice. Reminds me of the one and only pub that's left in my home village. Sort of a wild west sometimes
