LOL - that country was an eye opener for a young punk from Canada back in the day! Driving through the desert can be an almost spiritual awakening for those not used to doing as much!

A few road pics I've taken over the years of possible interest.
Texas School Book Depository ; the famous window is the open one on the 6th floor
No, these are not scenes from, The Deer Hunter, they are pics I took of my son's birth place
Small rivers we traveled on the MeKong Delta. I was 14 when the war ended. God be with the men & women that never left the river.
The man tending his fish trap is actually in Kenh Ga, North Vietnam.
