I should say, that the photos are not meant to hurt or offend Vietnam Vets.
My father & step father were Vietnam Vets.
I'm a vet & my brother is a vet of many conflicts.
You can PM me and vent on me , you have earned it. I will not complain.

You didn't. It was a nasty thing, for both sides. I was not there, so I can't be a spokesman, but, from what I've seen and felt; all sides are ready to bury the hatchet. It was a bad thing that happened. People against people, nations against nations, but, below it all, the beauty of the land remains. If you offended people, well, maybe they need to look at what's important to them now. I'm not trying to defend anyone, I just want to go there, see the sights and have a good time.

One thing this thread has shown me is, that I have been blind to the sights right outside my door. I have literally thousands of photos of places that I have been lucky enough to travel to, but only a few of my South Florida; I was born here , but have taken her for granted. I see Wullie & others here showing beautiful pics right outside their door, taken each day in their routine.
I'm going to take my camera with me for the next couple of weeks & try to see my home. I hope to have some pictures of South Florida for you before too long.
Sorry, no cannibal shots.

Take many pictures. For this trip, I can live through them. Next trip, lemme know when you're going, I'd love to tag along. I might get lost, I want to rent a motorbike, and see the people and experience the country. That, would be a dream trip. Kudos to you for retaining your past, your heritage, never forget. You've come a long ways, enjoy your trip home.

Few more pic's on my little travels.
Jamie.
First one up the millenium center in the city of Cardiff capital of Wales in the UK.
Second one I collected a few conkers in my local park, though the rich colours were crying out to be photographed.
Thirdly the beautiful little seaside town of St Ives in Cornwall one of my favourite holiday destinations.
And lastly from the tree that built Britain and help us discover most of the world the wonderful Acorn from the mighty British Oak tree.
