This sums up a lot of the problems in American society today. Most people would react like Bruno to this situation but a small minority will go the other way and sue. But instead of putting down the minority we cater to them and make society as a whole change to fit them.

While I don't support whole sale bans on anything in public schools, unless something is illegal, I do agree with systems like Trimmy has set up for his daughter. As long as these things are done in a reasonable way I see no problem with doing them.

Also as In the case with Birnando I believe most people given the opportunity to voluntarily do something in this case remove peanut products will do it in order to keep a child safe.

However on the flip side of it there are people that ether can't afford to do so. As peanut products may be the only source of protein that is cheap enough to give there child everyday or have children with special needs of there own that will only eat certain foods and peanut products give them nutrients and protein they need.

The problem with whole sale bans is that by trying to accommodate one you typically discriminate against another. It's just the way the world is there is no black and white just gray.
