Bravo! I agree that if you don't vote, you have no right to complain.

What about those of us on the path to citizenship? I pay a boatload+ in taxes, yet have no say! Don't I get to speak/gripe/bitch??? Besides, the 1st Amendment to the U.S. Constitution grants everyone in the U.S.A. the right to freedom of speech. Citizenship is not a requirement for griping.

Just hire a lobbyist and you'll have more influence on this country than any voter does or for that matter a million voters.

I voted 2 weeks ago. So sad that only 50% vote and in a close election as this one, 25% of those eleigible(sp) to vote will determine the election. And of those 25% only a tiny group in Ohio, etc will determine the whole outcome.

Why would you come here, much less want to become a citizen here if you already want to gripe, bitch, and moan?

Today I went to vote and I dedicated my vote to the U. S. Border Patrolman who lost his life defending our borders and also to the Foreign Service personnel and former Navy Seals who gave their lives in service to our country. The sacrifice they made will not be forgotten. Grace be to all the honorable men and women who serve in harms way so that we may be free.

Sure are starting out on the wrong foot wanting to be an American if that's the way you feel. I would have hoped you wanted to live here in the United States of America because of how it is now & because you like it. If you like & love our country, want to become a citizen, why would you want to whine, bitch and moan? Just doesn't make since to me.
