Nightblade,
What do you feel is the most effective way to approach a cartridge user & expose them to straights?

Thanked: 55I think maybe get them started with a DE (and brush and shaving soap). I'm really liking DE myself lately and I really started with it just as a backup for straights.
DE, it seems to me, is superior to cartridge shaving in most every way.

I have not used a cartridge razor in little more then a year.
i would never go back. I enjoy using a straight razor that was honed by me.
or A vintage De safety razor either a gillette fatboy. that's perty nice.
or some de razor not really sure where it's from.

Thanked: 375I usually start with the saving's and then go on about the quality of the shave. Money usually gets their attention. some respond with I only have to shave 2-3 times a week, it isn't worth it. I get it, it can be expensive if you want to buy all new stuff. I can shave everyday so the saving's is what got me thinking. Before I switched from a Gillette fusion, I could shave twice a day, DE's and straight's solved that problem for me.
