Okay...sorry guys...I was off to the bookstore to pick up a new cookbook.Hirlau..I guess most of the guys have the right ideas to the sell of the idea..as to the approach...well lemme put it this way.I had a resident at the condo where I work convert to DE.I tried to sell him on straights to no avail. But at least I got him off the cartridge.I use a DE alot myself because I stink at honing and stropping. That's a whole nuther rant though.Basically as we would converse(it helped he had a handle stache to begin with)I would bring up the joys of the ritual and how it relaxed me and all that. Then move on to the soothing discussion of soaps after shaves etc. and finally the costsaving. But I guess that's still considered the sell. I dunno.....I guess it's like food talk.Where I start by saying how I bought this Czech cookbook and how I've had Czech food and have a love for east european grub.I love dumplings with good hot beefy gravy over'em and chopped fresh parsley and dill.MMM have that with a side of browned Kielbasa or crispy shnitzel and some dill picles and a tall pilsner iced cold...damn yer in Prague baby !! That's how it works.....Hungry yet ??(wink) I don't know if that helps.....but I know I need to get in the kitchen pronto and make a snack ha ha ! Thanks for the friend request....you too White Lion.

I also might add....the costsaving is probably the biggest seller to this as most people today understand money before all else it seems.

What the innocent face in the avatar does not reveal, is that he's holding a Glock.

I appreciate a kids toy that has the ability to cancel them outta the gene pool if they don't use it right. Makes the pool stronger. Tonka toys and creepy Crawlies were great examples of that. Tonkas rusted and had nice sharp edges to cut you if you didn't pay attention. Creepy Crawlies had a an open faced cooker that got good and hot and you poured liquid rubber goo into metal molds and cooked'em till they solidified. Hot metal and goo...gotta love that !!

I doubt that approach would work all that well here in Virginia either. I probably would wind up giving them shaves or, if the discussion went further, maybe something else, something more unsavory.
