Thanked: 37I'm a graphic designer, my main work is supervising news page designers for a daily. I'm on that job now, waiting for the last two pages to send to platemaking. On the side I design books with my wife who is an illustrator. I've done a lot of different things from waiter at a dominican-chinese restaurant, worked as a drummer in a nightclub, fine arts printer (I studied fine arts with emphasis on printmaking), telephone equipment installer, construction work, and many art related gigs, like painting backgrounds for photographers, making scale models for projected theme parks... wow. But I've been more than 20 years on my current proffession. The last two pages just went out. If there are no nasty typos, we'll be home soon.
Arise, awake, and learn by approaching the exalted ones,
for that path is sharp as a razor’s edge, impassable,
and hard to go by, say the wise. Katha Upanishad – 1.3.14
