Violin maker for about 30 years, photographer before that. I still take pictures of violins and have my pix of them scattered around a bunch of trade-specific books.

I Really was a broadcast technician for HBO for 23 yrs. untill I got broke.

I am a builder who has worn out many a chisel, that is why i thought i could hone a razor easy, boy was i wrong.

What a varied group we are. I've spent most of my time either as a costal mariner or construction (mostly residential) currently I am a CCG Rescue Specialist and a sport fishing guide

I play guitar, sing, and lead a band infront of a few hundred people each week.

3 years in the army as a combat medic.
PC technician the first half of my university days (computer sciences). from there on software development the past 13 years, these days in computer vision r&d.
somewhere along the way picked up a "fun job" as a scuba diving assistant instructor, though I haven't used that qualification lately. volunteer EMT and ambulance driver, volunteer public safety diver in a fire department dive unit. army reserve duty about three weeks a year on average the past 15 years. will be deemed too old and honorably discharged in about 3 years. way too many uniforms in my closet...

I work for a general contractor building custom homes, renovations, window replacements.
At least that's what it says on the side of the truck. Some times I want to take a paint brush and add molly maid, eavestrough cleaner, pest control to the list. Like some of the other guys, I have all the tools I need at my disposal. Its very nice for other projects too.
