i saw the youngest daughter did a story recently ( last year i think ) where she said she found God and has now finally gotten over it and forgives and that the family still owns the property and just signs of the foundation excisted .., then another article where Randy Weaver went on tv or allowed an interview because they heard noises and the neighbors called to tell them there was 2 males in all black clothing outside the house and then fled to a black suv , so he wanted it known he knew he was being watched .. think the article was from just a couple years ago ..

I doubt that it was a case of dropping the ball and more of a case of not keeping their EYE on the ball. The current administration and its collective agencies have been insisting, even hoping, that any future terrorism will come from a different corner of the population.
Napolitano stands by controversial report - Washington Times
Even as late as last week they were initially saying "well, it IS tax day". For the last few years they have been convinced that any future threats would come from retired military. With a mindset like that, it stands to reason that perhaps one or two slip through the cracks.

Thanked: 3223Turns out this morning that they clarified that it was not government back terrorists, merely that they had support from some Al Qaeda in Iran. That seems to support statements by the government of Iran denying any official involvement on their part. Who knows , another angle could be that Al Qaeda wants to drag Iran deeper into the poo.
Anyway, it is best to keep an eye out not only on who you would normally suspect but also on the home grown ones. Canada now has had instances of both varieties.
It has also been acknowledged that members of the Muslim community had tipped authorities off to the two suspects that were eventually arrested. Looks like everyone did their bit in this case.

Thanked: 26Sounds more like the threat of a threat of a terrorist threat to me. Some kids had an idea: all it's waiting for is the Canadian equivalent of the FBI to bring in an instigator to accelerate the process, promise to get them the tools to do the job, and then plan the job for them. That's the way it often seems to work in the US, anyway.

Trying to see the upside for the LEO's on protecting and serving..
If the bombings happen "They dropped the ball"...
If they arrest people before they actually set off the bombs "They set up some poor innocents"
Makes me think that this is a no win situation for Law Enforcement, damned if they do, damned if they don't, pretty sad people pretty sad
